About the Author (TJ)

How can I describe myself?

I'm crazy enough to pour my soul into Burning Man.
I'm sane enough to be an engineer.
I'm abstract enough to enjoy music and art.
I'm concrete enough to pull things off.

I'm lyrical, literal, analytical, expressive, extrapolative, and sometimes hard to pin down.

In short, I am me.  And I'm always changing.

I am 80 kg of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, (etc.) arranged in a self-propagating, entropy-increasing, resource-consuming chunk of a complex energy exchange system known as a biosphere.  But then again, so are you.

You were maybe expecting some useful facts about me on this page?  Well, I really don't know what you want to know, so I can't anticipate your questions.  If you'd like to ask me something, just send me a note (tj(at)synaptick.net).   Don't be afraid.  Interaction is enriching.  Participate.

If you really must know what I look like, here are a couple of hints:
